Using the Power of Horses to Transform Lives.

Trauma-informed experiences that build confidence, connection, purpose, and opportunity across generations.

LUCK

Since 2016

FROM THE BEGINNING, LUCK WAS DIFFERENT.

LUCK began at a time when young people were absorbing growing racial division, violence, injustice, and conflict—both in their communities and through social media. Yet access to horses through therapeutic programs was reserved for young people with diagnosed physical or developmental disabilities.

But what about the kids who were carrying things no diagnosis could capture?

LUCK created access without labels. No diagnosis. No questions. Just the opportunity to experience horses, build confidence, make choices, and discover something new in an environment grounded in trauma-informed principles. Today, that philosophy extends beyond horses into agriculture, leadership, entrepreneurship, workforce development, community service, and career exploration.

Every horse has a story—and something to teach us.

Every horse at LUCK has a story—and something to teach us about trust, resilience, communication, confidence, and connection. Meet the remarkable horses at the heart of what we do.

There’s more than one way to get a Leg Up.

From experiences available today to new community spaces and the longterm reclamation of Blurred Line Farm, you can start where you are and choose where you want it to go.
